
How to actually pick the right infrared heat for your bathroom
Getting the wattage right for your bathroom isn’t about some complex formula—it’s really just about not overdoing it. If you slap a massive, high-wattage lamp into a tiny bathroom, you’re going to turn the room into a sauna and waste a ton of electricity. You want a balance where the room feels cozy, but you aren’t sweating through your towel.
Sizing it right
If you’ve got a small bathroom (under 4m²), stick with something in the 250W to 500W range. It’s plenty of heat to keep you warm without overloading your electrical panel. For those bigger master baths (6m² to 10m²), you’ll need to jump up to 800W or 1000W. **Here’s a pro tip:**Instead of buying one giant, scorching heat source, try a few smaller lamps. It spreads the warmth around the room much better. Nobody likes that feeling where your shoulders are roasting but your toes are still freezing.
Keeping things safe
